TECHNĒ establishes an unprecedented approach to the development of clothing, experimenting with 3D printing on tension-activated textiles and craft. The project aims to anticipate a future scenario where technology and traditional techniques merge, where networks of professionals and companies create hybridization processes for the fashion industry, blurring the boundaries between physical and digital, tradition and innovation.
With this premises, the photoset was aimed to reflect that same boundary between analogue and digital, between tradition and experimentation. After being shot on 6×6 films, the phase of digital acquisition was explored via different, unusual means and media.
